Check out Jackson at Evergreen coffee if you ever happen across Waskesiu. I just worked my first shift for him and it was easily the lowest stress shift I've ever worked. Super dedicated to a good cup of coffee is all I need to say.

Prairie dream

I took this shot during the stretch of wheat fields on our way from Twisp to Spokane during our cascade loop trip. Even without the corners and gnarly mountain passes this was my favorite section of highway by far. Just before this we went through an area that was just like the Baja, nothin but desert, adobe structures and mexicans. If you've never heard of the cascade loop it's in Washington, look it up, it's one of the must drive roads.

Jockey Shift

I think Jockey shift is pretty much the sweetest thing ever, and it's even cooler without a front brake and no cables to the bars. And then Even cooler than that is Indian Larry doing a burnout on that kind of bike.

Repainted me helmet for the trip tomorrow, it's just some cheap black pearl paint and then a blue lightning bolt. Looks pretty sweet for how little effort actually went into it.

Seat Pansy

We finished the seat pan today, turned out real good. It lowers the bike a lot more than it looks, can't wait to get some cushion on it and the sissy bar built. It's feelin more like a chopper than a street bike now, gettin real real sweet.

Friday, May 14, 2010

Started to build a new seat pan, I can't quite make up my mind if I like the new position yet, I'm not sure if it's low enough.

Chasing Thunder

Scott Pommier's photography, check it out it rocks.

http://www.scottpommier.com/chasingthunder/

He has a photo feature in the new spring issue of street chopper, the bike featured is Shinya Kimura's Triumph 650 that they call the needle. Some people might have seen Shinya riding the 4q bike with the twisted pipes.

I figure this can be a Music, Skate, Photo, and Bike blog, that way I can keep it fairly regular, and not get bored with it....

I'm gonna start it out with the new bike, pictures of it here are as it was when I bought it, We'll be modifying it over the next while.

We cut the stock bars and changed em up a little.
